toshiba projector bulb replacement

    Hi all,

    I have a Toshiba tlp lcd projector.

    Recently got a new bulb.

    When i put it in and turn projector on i get the following;

    Green screen followed by blue screen (slowly fading in and out) then the screen goes dark and fades into a bright red screen which has black verticle bars.

    When i press menu button nothing comes up and i checked manual and all the lights on projector are ok (so no warning lights)

    What could possibly be the problem.

    I have been googling for ages but this issue seems a bit unique.

    some help to be put in the right direction would be great.
