    Hi there
    I am just completing a masters in finance and have to do a thesis. Im very keen to do something with a trading slant. Would anyone have any advice on potential research topics? Or even ideas on the current key issues/ problems/ trends causing difficulties in the markets? Im currently looking into the impact of and attitude to algo trading but would love some other ideas from market insiders. Thanks a lot.

    Alot of talk these days is around the emergence of dark liquidity pools and their affect on liquidity..
    European regulators are currently looking at imposing thresholds.
