Strength Vs Size help

    I've just been reading the Benchpress thread and watched the videos regarding form by Dave Tate.

    Now I have some fairly basic questions I didn't know I needed to ask before.

    There seems to be a substantial difference between benching for Strength and benching for Size. - this sent me doing some reading I should have done a long time ago.....

    Seems the consensus is 3 - 5 reps heavy for strength and 6 - 12 at 80% for size.

    Is this correct ?

    Does this also mean that I would have seen better results Size wise if I had to have gone with something other than the 5*5 Stronglifts program? ( although I am happy with results )

    btw - It kind makes sense that having strength would make building size easy doesn't it ?
