    I have found that shooting can be a great way to get around Ireland, to go into places you would normally go without a gun ;)

    can i just ask, if you get to shoot a few deer for the farmer aswell, why do you use a 223 on the goats, why dont you use the deer cal.. a 223 on a goat is a bit like a .22 for a fox, it does the job but isnt the best tool for it

    on the way out of limerick today on the bus i passed a plant hire place with 8 goats running around the yard, nothing stopping them running out onto the road. are these class as wild?:rolleyes:

    Not wild, Feral.

    Wild animals/game have seasons. Feral don't AFAIK.

    Jap just back from the hill,6 shot today again.3 left here as a few mates took the rest for dog food.I have the unsavoury task of skining them tommorow.I find the 223 more than capable of dealing with the goats.I have used other gun for the job but I have a preference for the Brno.I try to utilise what I have.
