Hot Chocolate Present..

Hey guys I just got a belated present off a colleague through Secret Santa. It has 70% cocoa as one of the three flavours (the other two being white and milk chocolate). Now I am going cold turkey and eating healthy since Monday, previously I had a real sweet tooth/night-time eating problem and it's bloody hard to ween myself off of it!

I was wondering though if at times like now where I would just die for a bit of sweetness, would this and some low-fat or semi-skimmed milk be a nice alternative every now and again? Is it bad to have?

I mean I have only been eating fruit, wholemeal bread, grilled chicken and steamed veg so I think my cravings for some proccessed sugar (I know it's bad but I'm just being honest) are going nuts. It doesn't help my mam bought so much Hunky Dory's and Yorkies and Rowntries today.. :o

Hi resi12, I use hot chocolate a lot when I get cravings! I only have low calorie versions, like the cadbury highlights brand. As long as you have low fat milk (sometime I have soya milk) you're fine...let's face it, it's healthier than chocolate bars! :D

Oh lovely! I think though when I posted that my body was craving sugar, the first night and all that. I'm much better now thank God, not so many cravings!

I may have one when it comes to it though, thanks :) x
