    HeY all,

Ive recently joined the gym ( last week) I used to be quite sporty in my early teens, but at the age of 15 I got lazy and let myself go quite badly, a recent breakup has opened my eyes and I wanna get back to being fit.

I'm 16 stone (roughly 100kgs) vie got quite broad shoulders and my chest is quite leen ( which really surprises me) the only real part of my body that's fat as such is my midsection or belly lol, I've been told to stick to cardio, and I am it's just as I said I've become quite unfit...

So what I'd like to knownis what kinda cardio I should be doing and how long I should be spending in the gym :)

    Hi There

Its handy if you post a full diet first, they say you can not out train a bad diet, so if we know what your eating its a great start :)

    Hey, op here

Ehm it just a basic low carbs diet consisting of lean meat and veg or if I'm using the gym in the morning I'll have an omelette consisting of 4 egg whites and one yolk with ham onion and tomato but if I have work in the morning then I'll have a small bowl of museli

Usually for dinner I would have salmon seasoned with some spices and herbs with some steamed veg, if not salmon then I'll have a lean peice of chicken breast again seasoned.

If I ever get Peckish then I'll have some fruit usually apples, maybe one or two in the day

I'd also like to add that I'm using hydroxycut hardcore at the moment.

    Hey OP,

What kind of exercise do you think you'd like to do? Doing something you feel you'd enjoy or have enjoyed in the past is always a good strategy, especially starting out.

If you are 16 stone and carrying the flab mainly on your belly I reckon you should take advantage of your build and do some weights, this will burn the calories too. Also do cardio, perhaps see can you do 30 mins on the treadmill or bicycle. That may be too much to start with but after a month or two you'll get there. Two sessions cardio and two sessions weights a week and then maybe increase the duration of your gym visits or the frequency of them.
