team racing...any one give me the basic rules with regards to this? and i mean the bare basicis...fireflys i think are the boats...

also anyone know the best place online or otherwise to get bouyancyaids?

In team racing, 2 teams of 3 boats each race against each other, usually on a short circuit with races lasting between 5-10 minutes.

The objective it to get your combined results to add up to less than the other team. There are several winning combinations, for example; 1,2,3; 1,2,6; 1,3,6 etc.

The rules are generally the same as the normal racing rules of sailing, with some exceptions, detailed on the Team Racing appendix which you will find here. http://www.sailing.org/racingrules.php
