    Hi

So I am trying to make a low calorie meal for myself that I can make up in a big batch, freeze, and have all week.

I have been busy and am due to get even busier in the coming weeks and I have an awful feeling my diet will suffer as a result.

Everyone at home orders in on a nightly basis and I'm afraid I'm going to fall into the trap.

These are the foods I have at home to use:

Chicken breast, wholegrain pasta, courgette, carrot, black olive, onion.

I would like a nice pasta bake, something tasty but low cal. I love white creamy sauces which I know are terrible so I don't want to undo the good work, but would love to keep the creamy sauce if possible.

I'm going shopping in a bit so am not restricted to the above foods

    thanks

    peanut

I always found stews were handy for freezing and reheating.
Can pick and choose which veg to use like low carb ones(maybe leeks, chopped sprouts, onions, garlic) i ussually add some carrot and any other green stuff i can find plus of course steak pieces, chicken or lamb.
If you need to thicken it up can add lentils also instead of potatoes.

If your looking to lose weight that for me was the way to go. was on a restricted diet and ate this mostly but accidently lost way too much weight as i was thin to begin with. But i have a very fast metabolism from eating these types of small meals many times in the day just as i get hungry.

Lately my main meal of the day is a fistful of mince beef mashed together with diced onion and garlic with herbs and spices then flattened to a burger shape and dropped on the frying pan. While thats cooking i make up a massive plate of salad.
Lettuce(two types green and iceberg),cucumber, onion, garlic,a grated carrot sometimes.
The dressing i used a small bit of mustard into a glass, some diced garlic, mixed herbs, balsamic vinegar and some olive oil and give it a good whish in the glass with a fork.
Oh and i fry an egg and drop it onto the burger as i work out quite a bit now.
Dont know how many calories in the burger but i guess you could moderate the amount of protein.
In between meals i snack on pumkin seeds. 2 euro for 300g in tescos :)
