In particualar does anyone have an opinion on this site: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/

I'm guessing it more than likely expense! The reason I'm asking here instead of the diet forum is that I want to see how it affect's peoples enery levels for training

    Thanks

Do a search for 'paleo diet', discussed at length many times. But yes I would tend to agree with regard to it being more expensive in general.

I have been on it for 13 days and counting and it's grand once you get used to it - more balanced energy levels and loss of body fat are the major advantages. My lifts havent been progressing just as well and i feel gassed my the third rep of my 3x5 compounds. Strength session takes abit more out of you imo but its worth it for the results plus the chins and pullups are getting easier :D As for cardio or intervals i dont know ill post you when i start them next week.

Ive bought Primal Blueprint but due to ongoing exams i have not had a chance to pour through it yet.

Not necessarily all veg is cheap as chips... and better for you. Plus i generally eat less as im not as hungry. Steaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner will end up costing you though. My advice is to prepare and think out your meals before hand - when you are hungry and have no food prepared thats when you may slip up!

I always have a bag of cheap pumpkin seeds handy for when i am between meals and hungry.
2 euro in tescos isnt bad for 300grams.

Also ive been eating the minced beef from tescos with about 15% fat i think roughly 4 euro for 500 grams or theres sometimes 350g packs 2 for a fiver.
I make my own burgers with that adding stuff to them and have it with an egg on top and a seperate plate of salad as dinner for example.
Bacon eggs and salad for breakfast.
Im doing more exercise the last day or two(which is making me more hungry) and i think ketosis is kicking in too, so i might start having another meal around lunch time of makerel and salad.Makerel are fairly cheap if you go to a fishmongers.
Something like 7 fish for a tenner iirc.
Because they are small fish you shouldnt have to worry about too much mercury either.
