    Hey, have been looking at previous posts and was wondering where to get info on diet. Im looking to builda bit of muscle and lose weight. Would anyone have a sample weekly menu or point me in the right direction/advice etc. Anyway,thanks for any help

    No-one will be able to give you a sample menu as no-one here knows you (male or female/height and weight etc) or how your body responds. There are however plenty of good basic guidelines you can follow on the stickies on the main fitness page.

    Building muscle requires resisted training coupled with a calorific surplus.
    Losing weight/fat requires a calorific deficit. Obviously these are conflicting ideologies, you're best picking one and focussing on it.

    He has an ebook which breaks it down for you if you want.

    I have started it and at the start it takes a little while to watch what you are eating but after a while you get used to it

    Basically, you eat carbs around workouts and on non workout days you lower carbs and replace the lost carb calories with fats

    well im male, 27, 177lbs or 12 stone 5 lbs. Im not over weight much...anyway,any help appreciated
