    Hi There,

First post I believe in this forum :)

    Height 5' 10"
    Weight 95kg

I am currently (As in started Monday :P I will keep it up though!) training 5 x a week, 2 heavy weight sessions, 2 crossfit/cardio sessions (roughly 20 mins each) & 1 metcon session. I'll also be brining some BJJ into the mix.

I want to drop at least a stone and have made some big changes to my diet. I want to know is there anything I should drop / the times of meals?

08:15 - 2 scrambled eggs (made with milk + parsley)
    10:45 - almonds/cranberries/orange/pear
12:30 - Bowl of soup (Today Tomato + Basil) with a homemade Paleo Bar
16:00 - As 1045 (Edit: 3 tablespoons of Peanut butter as well - stopping this after seeing kcals!)
    18:00 - Chicken/Beef/Fish with veg (carrots,broccoli,sweetcorn) + a sauce like that Levi Roots sauce.
    - Here I will usually go training
    22:00 - Tuna + poppy seeds + sometimes homous

    All comments welcome, thanks!

Have you checked to see how many calories you are eating everyday?

Naos, be patient....its way too soon to tell, hasn't even been a week!
If you weigh in next Monday and have lost 1 kilo (about 2 pounds) pat yourself on the back and well done.

Slow loss is the best loss. Try taking your measurements as well, the scales dont always tell the full story.

If you are keeping up that training, drink plenty of water, get plenty of greens into yourself.....I think your diet looks good. ;)

Yeah just checked it on fitday.com - looks to be around 1600kcals with the breakdown of 102g fat, 58.1g carbs, 113g protein.

Around 92g of those fats are coming from Almonds, Drained tuna, Dark Choc (90%), Eggs, Coconut Oil & Desicated coconut (paelo bar) & Peanut Butter.

Thanks :) I'm going to weigh in on the 16th of Jan, going to do it every two weeks.

I think you're the type who would be better off going by how tight your jeans feel rather than what the scales says.

Say you gain some muscle (which is denser than fat tissue) and your weight doesn't drop? Could be very disheartening even if you are actually in better shape

Also your weight can vary during the day depending on how much fluid/faeces are inside you amongst other things.

So either go by your clothes or weigh yourself every day at the same time.

    Cheers man!

Yeah I'm going to weight myself every 2 weeks on the same scales (one of those Height/Weight machines in boots) wearing roughly same clothes (shorts + tshirt).

I think I'm on the right track, time will tell. I'm just going to have to be patient with it!
