2. Post in this thread, giving a short description of what you have for sale and paste the link to your ad. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD, YOU WILL BE BANNED.

3. Alternatively, if you are seeking an item or items, create a "wanted" ad on adverts.ie and post in this thread stating what you are seeking and paste a link to your wanted ad.

3. NO chat allowed in this thread; questions about items are better suited in adverts.ie.

5. NO posts offering items for sale without a link to adverts.ie.

6. Please refrain from making or accepting offers in this forum; that is easily done on adverts.ie.

7. Offers posted in this thread will be deleted and/or the user banned for habitual offenders.

8. Private Sellers ONLY, that means no commercial sales are allowed. If you are found to be a commercial seller, you will be banned and possibly sitebanned.

9. Sample Answers that are subject to License Agreements are not to be placed for sale on this forum - or here at all. Result - Ban and potential report to License holder.

Thanks for your reply. I am taking the entrance exams this August and not familiar with what people use for study. I was going to just use the syllabus posted on the kings inn website for guidance. Just wondering where you got the manuals from and whether the content of them suffices for exam purposes. I assume you passed and/or graduated already from Kings Inns? Where are you located in the country and what's your asking price? Thanks again.

Hi all,

I just looked at above advert for KI manuals, 600e for the 5 of em...I take it if they were 2011 packs they'd be even more expensive? I'm sorry but those manuals are a complete rip off...monies due at the end of the month to sit the exams (600e) and the manuals are the same price again...do people find them worth the money because they break the topics down for them? I'm going to have to do with the books in law library in college, couldn't justify spending that on those manuals, they would want to come with a guaranteed pass...

I'm just posting those for a friend so you can make an offer if you want to, no skin off my nose.

The course is €1,800 and you cannot buy the manuals without the course. There is no such thing as a guaranteed pass, if you want that you're in the wrong profession - they just don't exist for KI exams or FE-1s.
Everyone I've spoken to who has used to manuals (or more often taken the prep course itself) has found it invaluable in passing the exams and insight into possible questions that come up.
The thing about the courses/manuals is that they distil the important examinable parts of the subjects - narrows the issues a bit IMO.

I'm not saying you cannot pass without a prep course or manuals, far from it, but it does make life a lot easier IMO and from what I've heard from people that did vs didn't take the prep.

Just a wee joke there with the guaranteed pass....I think it was a ill-informed rant on my part because I thought it was KI that were selling the manuals...didnt even think of the prep courses... I have passed all the FE-1's and am now doing the KI so I am hoping I wont need the manuals. However, I understand a course would be hugely beneficial to someone who has never studied law before or hasn't done so in a while.
