You can add one retired player to your roster, who will it be?

    So who would it be?

For the Ravens, I'd say Jonathan Ogden
Ravens very first draft pick in franchise history

All pro left tackle and 11 probowls, definitely heading to Canton

I'd be drooling at the prospect at getting him back on the roster.

So who is the retired player from your team's past you'd love to have back?
Just one pick, sure we could all come up with wish lists :P

I'm a Bucs fan so not much to get excited about....Maybe Sapp or Rice...Sapp for pure entertainment value.

Man this is a difficult question, but a great one nonetheless....... Raiders need to seriously upgrade their Receivers so I'd pick Jerry Rice. Or Fred Biletnikoff, Or Tim Brown, :D

Steve mcnair, although retirement is the easiest hurdle to jump in getting him back on the roster. . ..

The obvious answer is Barry Sanders or Bobby Layne but given we've worse weaknesses the answer may be Dick LeBeau or Night Train Lane at their peak

    Mel Blount on Defense

    Stallworth on Offense

As a Bucs fan there is not a question in my mind.

    Mike Alstott.

Derrick Brooks being a close second

Brook was great. Apatite was an absolute truck of a man but I just feel with Rice and Sapp in the middle of the D, they were a force. Amatory was short runs and injuries but to each their own.

up until last year i wouldve said Tony Boselli back on the Jags offensive line.

but given their current problems i want Jimmy Smith back as a WR

    Chicago Bears:

Obvious choice would be Walter Payton. Based on the current needs then maybe Orlando Pace in his heyday cira 99-01. I'd probably stick with Payton though.

You mean the guy that owned the Denver Broncos? In fairness what would the owner of the Broncos know about Football :P

Great coach though...this thread makes me want to watch Americas Game

Sapp is a grade A Asshole does nothing but thrash the Raiders now.

It would be tough for me to pick between Jack Tatum or Tim Brown.

I could understand a Bucs fan making this choice but a Raiders one? Surely Howie Long would be a better choice?

    Rams - Torry Holt.

We need some good receivers and I think Holt into the mix and Avery and the others the Rams would have some weapons for Sam.

Pats need wide recievers and as I never seen Stanly Morgan play, I have to go for Troy Brown, I know he wasnt the most spectacular wr but he was Mr reliable and Mr versatile when i started watching the patriots play.

.... seems like a no-brainer to pick the minister and difficult to look past him and what he brought to a team.... but i would love to see Jerome Brown in an eagles uniform again - for what he achieved and also for what we never got to see.

    ....

Offence: It will be Tony Gonzalez soon so for now I'll take Montana (honourable mention to Marcus Allen and Priest Holmes).

Defense: Derrick Thomas (RIP) just ahead of Neil Smith.
