Touch of Death 3: SSF4 2v2 tournament - Saturday, 29th January

Last weekend of January I'll be running another 2v2 tournament in the Xtreme Gaming Centre (Liffey St., near the Ha'Penny Bridge on the Northside).

Various rules and things:


Tournameent starts at 2pm.

I'm upping the price to 20 euro per team (15 euro worth going to the prize pot, 5 to console rental). If a lot of people want it brought back down to 15 per team I don't mind, but 20 provides a bit of a better prize pot and hopefully means I don't end up lugging around a pocket of coins and having to make change all day. :pac:

Teammates must use different characters and it's character lock - you choose your character on the character select screen for your first round match, or before the second round if your teammates OCVs and you don't play the first round.

Tournament will be double elimination.

Making it a tenner would also fix that problem, quite nicely.

It was never single elim.

Tenner per team would reduce the prize pot to ridiculous levels. If you're not willing to pay to enter the tournament, don't, just show up and play casuals.

1 Reducing the prize pot was never suggested.
2 Error was made in reading the original post
