The first Raw of 2011 comes live from Phoenix, AZ.

The main event is Miz vs. Jo Mo for the WWE Title in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Also, we get the aftermath of CM Punk becoming the new leader of the Nexus.

We don't know yet, he wasn't there last week when Punk became the new "leader" of Nexus

Hopefully he'll still be involved in Nexus. I think he has been fantastic in that role so far, and i definitely dont feel its time for him to go out on his own as a heel vs Cena.

Unless Cena is still injured from that knock in the cage match.Not turning up would require logic something that Cena clearly lacks.Hope its better than last week but i've been saying that for a while.
I'm not going to start a thread on this but David Arquette has entered to rehab after seeing the state of him a few weeks back that should suprise no one.

Im not sure if i really want to watch this week.
Ive constantly pushed myself every week to stay awake, some weeks completely regretting it and some weeks being very pleasantly surprised.


i hope punk isnt the leader of nexus. I know, hear me out.

If he wasnt, he could be a bit of a mark for wade barratt. Like how he was for jericho in nxt. It could lead to a bit of hostility between punk and otunga.
Punk given the number 2 position in the group and Otunga getting pissed off because he feels he should be in the number 2 position.


In my mind theres a lot more that could be done rather than punk just being the leader and thats that.

Remember Nexus first night? Who's match did they stop,.............it wasn't just Cena, there could be much more to come down the line, remember Punk holds grudges..... or maybe I am hoping for too much!

Unless the Miz has ****ed up backstage then not a chance in hell. I reckon it will be a cluster**** of a match which will ultimately end up in a match for the Rumble with Orton and Sheamus involved.

No - WWE rushed it far too quickly to give a chance of people believing Morrison could win, no real build up for the match. Expect some weird outcome to make a rumble match between them and Orton I mean Masters

I would love to see a title change. Or even a close win by jo mo and then a double knockout/countout (a proper one, not an out of ring one) leading to a set up at the RR.

logic, wtf you on about, if vince and creative want cena to be there he will be there, cena doesn't write the show, its not up to him when and where he appears, if vince says jump cena says how high

actually if they go with cena having been injured by barrett in a house show match on tv that would be more illogical, barrett is supposed to be out of action remember, why is cena still wrestling barrett when he is supposed to have vanquished that enemy, cena is supposed to be feuding with punk

The world title should be the headline event.
There should be anticipation. Something to look forward to for the night. Some sort of respect for the title.

Its just being devalued further.

I think what he means is maybe its cheapening the title having it as the opening match.
I kind of agree, but the match is pretty good so far, so its working itself out.

just seems like they are blowing their load early. I dont mind sitting through the crap when I know something good(like a world title match) is coming up.

Now I have to sit through the crap knowing that the only thing I have to look forward to is the Bellas and Otunga.

its a good solid match? The title gets devalued with it bouncing back and forth the whole time imo, not good wrestling bouts

While I get where you're coming from.. It was a good match, and these guys are only testing the waters of the main event scene..

However..

Why should I care about ppvs? the big showcases, if the big strap is being defended on free tv...
