Will this router work with my modem?

    Yes but given that the Thompson is also a router you will have a duplicated router function in the set up and this will cause problems so you will need to turn off the dhcp say in the Thompson -which will mean it will act as a pure modem.

    Also remember that to get the benefit of the 'n' standard you need all wireless cards in the set up to be n. Even one non n one will drag you back to the 'g' standard.

    Theres a switch on the front of the Thomson to disable the wireless, so if I just disabled it would I have to turn off the dhcp then?(what is the dhcp?)

    How do I set the wireless cards to n??:confused:
