can't sleep in this heat

it's so warm it's like the summer with the heat we're having tonight. I'm really tired now but can sleep with this heat!

So why dont you open the windows for about 20 minutes to purge the house of its excess warmth? You could also go for a walk, or go out and sit on a wall for 20 minutes. Then you'll be good and chilly.

Dunno if the OP is a poor troll or what, but I have to say, there is some serious heat around. For the last two nights I've been having trouble sleeping.

Currently have the heating off and window wide open and I'm still roasting. My desk fan is blowing around the room too, not that it's making any difference.


Pain in the ass altogether. It was freezing less than a week ago. Surely other people have noticed this?

Buy a new thermostat! Regulate the amount of fuel you put on the fire. The SIL has a roaring fire, regardless of what the outside temperature is, she had the house insulated last year and still uses the same amount of fuel!!!

Ive found it really hot the last 3 nights even with the window open and everything and Ive been turning the heat off earlier than usual. It could be difference in temperature since the snow I was freezing at night than, what ever it is its just strange at this time of year

It's not as bad as last night but its still quite warm. I've had the window open for a good few hours but will have to close it now, can hear animals.
Ian told me we might be getting snow again very soon :eek::mad:


edit; there's now noisy annoying drunk people outside shouting. Hope they feck off home.
