    Has anyone any experience of this??

    I have a close friend that is thinking of starting doing this. It will cost a lost to get up & running but they are seriously considering it..

    The cost is €2 per child once a week in a school.. Do you reckon parents will fork out this amount once or twice a week. The people setting it up are qualified primary teacher & a fitness instructor so it is a perfect venture for them.. A bit of fun too & obviously helping the kiddies to kep fit while having fun!! I think it sounds great personally but I would like to hear what others think..

    Any advice would be really appreciated Thanks :)

    As a parent, I'd like to hear more of exactly what's involved. If it was something that genuinely gave kids a good start and education about fitness (and nutrition if possible) then I'd be happy to pay more than €2 a week for it.

    Yep it involves teaching the kids about nutrition too & general fitness.
    Sounds great...

    is that after school?
    using school facilities?

    its a thorny subject, but every school has different policies when it comes to after school activities, use of their facilities by outside groups, also they have policies on pupils paying for activities

    and a lot of schools do afterschool GAA, soccer, rugby etc where the teachers give their time for free
