They say in a fire you should only take stuff like cash, photos and your plasma/LCD tv...but you should only take the tv after you've plugged out all other appliances.

I have a lot of stuff that would be hard to get/afford again, but I'd just go for the stuff that can't be replaced at all. So that'd be a couple of boxes of original production art (animation cels, comic art etc), my precious Megadrive prototype games and my atomiswave candy cab. Good luck to me getting the cab out during a fire though :pac:

I'd probably say my laptop, camera and a bracelet I got as a present a few years ago although I know if I really did have to get out while the house is on fire, I'd forget about those and just get out as fast as I could!
