Hello

I am stuck on 117 accross and 118 down - the clue for both is

? French ?

the first ? is 117 accross and the second ? is 118 down as I read it

Seem to be the only one stuck on this one and its doing my head in trying to work it out

Stuck on exactly the same ones, have asked around to no avail, think it might be someone's name?

True to my username I can’t quite complete the 2017 version of this - am racking my brain for 99A, “bodies of people under single governments (7)”, which I believe is * * T * O*S and 82D, “of industrial sciences or specialised language (9)”, which I’m guessing is * * C * * * C * L

In the 2017 version I'm down to one, 64D, Tailless Amphibian (4), which should be either Toad or Frog! However, other answers give me four letter word beginning with R and ending in E; R * * E Any help appreciated! Happy Christmas All!
