Are you sure it's new? When is the 2011 one out?

Thought it was the new one myself, its the old one unfortunately with the wrong pics.

Heresthe new one with the '3' sponsor for €60.

Any proof of this? I know people who have ordered it who already have the old one. Surely putting pics of one thing up and selling something else is leaving them open to all kinds of trouble?

EDIT: It says stripped trim to the sides in the product description. The old one doesnt have that detail, surely its the new one then?

I reckon the jersey itself is exactly the same but with the eircom sponser on it instead of 3.

current arsenal home jersey is the same price so they may be trying to clear out excess stock

I picked up the new home one with the 3 sponsor for 40 euro in the FAI Carrolls store there off O'Connell bridge they were like 60 euro everywhere else.

They're the same as the eircom ones from the start of the campaign just with a different sponsor. The Eircom one is a lot cheaper and since the team doesn't even wear a sponsored jersey there's really need to get the newer one.

Anyone know the shirt printing is like with Eleverys?
Is it the offical lettering like in the Celtic store in the Jarvis Shopping centre?

If everyone emails Sandra back saything that your very dispointed that this wasnt highlighted before your purchase was made. Also that it would make you think twice about subbiting orders on the elverys website.

That's exactly what I did, if everyone is being sent out the same email regarding different jerseys and sizes, it's an awful load of shíte.

anyone get their money back yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 238 ✭✭knipper

Ordered about ten things all on offer except one. Surprise surprise got an email back today the only one that was available was the one at full price and I would have had to pay delivery on that.
    Everything else out of stock.
Not too bothered as like most here was only buying cos they were cheap.

For those of you wondering, this appears to have been in-store too.

From what I could see (and I'm not au-fait with jerseys), it was (as of yesterday in Blanch at least) the white long-sleeve '3' jersey with yellow stitching along the side and arm seams that was going for the OP price. There were other variations for 30eur too, but I couldn't figure out the difference.

They had team socks reduced too.

    It is what it's.

I see all the Ireland kit has been pulled from the website. I got the same mail from Sandra, and replied to her saying I will wait until the jesey was back in stock so she can complete the order then. See how that works out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,529 ✭✭✭✭cson

I got the email for a hoodie I ordered but not for the €15 Arsenal Jersey.

    Email sent too;

    Sandra,

I'm disappointed to learn of the below given the item was listed on your website. I would expect this to be highlighted before any purchase order was processed as this will lead to the inconvenience of the refund clearing my credit card which I'm sure you are aware takes a number of days - this is further exacerbated by the transaction occuring during the Christmas period. This leaves me with less funds than expected on my credit card and no product; such a situation is simply unacceptable and in future I will be reticent to purchase off elverys.ie again.

    I would appreciate your thoughts.

    Regards,

    cson

Ordered the Irish jersey and the Galway Utd one w/o the discount code and haven't recieved a cancellation email...

    Fingers crossed!

I ordered youth sizes ireland and liverpool shirts and got this email:

"Unfortunately this item is not available in our central warehouse so it will have to be transferred back from our high street shop due to this it may take a couple of days extra to deliver. However, we will contact you as soon as we have this item dispatched"

I don't mind waiting a few extra days, especially as i thought it was going to be cancelled ;)

    Dear

I will see what I can source for you from our deliveries in January – I will confirm up on the 4th January with you.

    Regards,

    Sandra

It's a balls up from them so I can't see anyone recieving their order but sure its worth a try.

Did any of the cheap Ireland shirts go on sale in the Elverys shops? I had a look in the uffolk St and Clerys branches, albeit a couple of days after the sales began, and there were none around.

The Home and Away shirts were €40.20 in Elverys in Galway yesterday. Thats for the 3 sponsored shirts
