So Fimck, if that is your real name. First, how many Simpsons fridge magnets do you own? Be honest, we have ways of checking this. Secondly, do you now write, or have you ever written, op ed pieces for the Sunday Independent? Thricely, what's a Fimck? I of course know this already, being great and all, but explain it for the rest of the class.

Not many lunatics in AH; mostly just frustrated comedians, sh*te talkers and people wasting time.
There are a decent number of posters worth reading, though.
Stick with it; you'll learn to grow strangely accustomed to coming back for no particular reason you can grasp.

I was kind of wondering what the point of AfterHours was, actually. I do like it though. I'm not a frustrated comedian, however. I think I waste an awful lot of my time - there are so many other things I could be doing right now. Like, work, for example. Or ironing - I also have to work in the morning - so I should probably iron a shirt. I have a nice white pin-striped shirt, or a plain blue shirt for tomorrow. I was very upset recently, and still kind of am because I bought this beautiful pink pin-striped shirt from a store called American Eagle a while back. Anyway, this kind of blue-grey stain appeared on the crease of the collar. It looked like dye so my wonderful girlfriend cleaned it using Tide stick or something.

So then, we took it to the laundrette and washed it. I got it back to the gaff and was ironing it and then these yellow stains appeared when it got wet. I was like, WTF? So she came out and said, 'oh it must be the Tide stick, I used too much' so we put it in the laundry basket. A few days later we took it back out and brought it to the laundrette again, well I did, she was in work, and washed it. I used extra detergent. I got it home and happy days - the yellow stains didn't appear this time. However, to my disgust I noticed this grey stains on the front of the shirt that looks like, grease or something. Now, they weren't there before I washed the shirt or dried it, so it must have happened somewhere between folding the shirt in the laundrette, and putting it on the ironing board at home. For the life of me I can't figure out how but I'm annoyed as it's a lovely shirt. It's probably the nicest fitting shirt I own, so I'm upset about it. It's back in the basket now, awaiting the GF's next tactic. She thinks we should bring it out to her parent's house. They have their own washing machine so she'll be able to assess the situation better.

What do you guys think? What should we do?

    Yep, way TL;DR

basically it means we've a short attention span, we really want to read what you wrote but couldnt be arsed right now. 2-3 short paragraphs is the limit.

Short and simple in here works well....oh...and if you're a girl..keep that one quiet till ya get above 1000 posts.

The OP has a suggestion..... take the pink stripy shirt, cut it up and give it to your mummy for dusting rags. No pink shirts in this house :D
Or you could use it to dress a snowman
or shrink it for the fairy on the top of tbe christmas tree
or use it to line the cats littter tray
    the list goes on....

    Oh, mornin boys :)

I remember when a few years ago on the Simpsons, Homer wore a pink shirt to work and got sent to an insane asylum. Now loads of guys are wearing them. If only real life was like the Simpsons! The only guys that can get away with wearing them are the ones that look like they can genuinely beat the life out of you for mocking them about wearing a pink shirt.

Not really. It just makes them look very pretentious. I had a Utd jersey that faded to pink one time. Threw it away, lads can't wear pink.

Where are the mysterious stains coming from?
Why don't you have your own washing machine?
Won't somebody think of the children?
