    Cold precipitation
    has caused consternation,
    all up and down our once warm nation.

    So, the population
    sans acclimation,
    ensconse themselves in hibernation.

    For those who dare
    to venture out,
    they slip and slide and fall about.

    ''But, we're out of grit.'', the councils bawl.
