I'm looking to buy a new laptop with a 64-bit OS (Windows 7 Pro), and was wondering if anyone knows if I'll be able to connect to the college WiFi with it, as ISS say they don't support 64-bit. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me, so I hope I've just misunderstood.

Anyone using a 64-bit OS on the TCD network?

I'm using W7 64bit on the wired network, if that's any help.

I suppose I should edit my post. It isn't officially supported, but don't let that stop you.

Booting and registering a Linux Live CD will get you around any restrictions anyway. :)
