underwater ballroom in witley estate in england.

A giant statue of Neptune sits atop an underwater dome enclosing a secret room under the lake of the Whitley Estate in England

The entire estate was drenched in opulence and extravagance. It was built in the late 1800s by Whitaker Wright, a shady businessman who was convicted of fraud after many years of floating bad loans and swindling investors. In 1904, he took his own life via cyanide pill on the day of his sentencing.

The roof of the ballroom is paned in translucent glass to let light filter through from the water above

A long hallway connects the dome to the entrance, here lit by long exposure

This also affects sundials. But you can use this to add corrections.

    1. If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color, pink.

    2. Green Catastrophe: If you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

    3. Reality Shatter: Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, many if not all of the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you may only see a green dot rotating.

Don't know if this qualifies as cool, but all of what you can see on the right is a new island, created by volcanic eruption. There was nothing there before December 2013. It's now about 20 acres and still growing.

It's off the coast of Japan and is called Nishinoshima (which is actually the name of the older, smaller island on the left, that has now been joined by the new and bigger island).

I wonder how you go about buying newly created land. Who owns it??
Buy now and your investment might keep growing. Lol
