You're never going to please everything, if you get a few decent downloads out of it it's a great little deal.

Apple crack down a lot on their branding in the App Store, so you're guaranteed it's a legit application if it has the Apple logo on it.

when I tried to download the free kylie EP (yuck) it says it can't find itunes on my pc and brings me to the itunes download page - any ideas? I have itunes 10.1 installed.

Carphone Warehouse have a similar app up since the start of december. It's an advent calendar offering apps each day

AFAIK the Carphone warehouse one just points out free apps

The '12 days' one gave away full price apps last year (ie Monopo;y was normally €3*)

last year apps were ok-ish but music was rubbish. Mind you , its free so you can't complain.
Deleted songs after a day, played with apps for a few day and deleted them.
Not complaining about quality , apps were not great for me, I think apps were very good for kids.

Just tried to download it now and I am getting a message telling me it cannot find itunes on my pc. It is there, version 10.1. Any ideas why it wont let me go any further?

That's because you have the Irish app. You can't have both together because they are (almost) exactly the same and iTunes and your iPhone assumes you have updated. Instead, use the website for one country and the app for the other. The UK website is:

Click on the links from there, and just make sure that it takes you to the UK iTunes store, otherwise you may end up paying for it!

Yeah I think its cos we have the UK app so thats why it wont download, dont think we can get the father ted unless we go through the above process of setting up a UK account.

Not that im complaining when i say this because i love this app, its great to have something small to look forward to over the next couple of days (Sad i know) but i think we can all admit it will be predominately sh1te pop singles and maybe a few ok games but what im really curious about is it says there will be a full movie included on the last day i presume. What does everyone think it will be? Like the music its probably not going to be anything amazing, any guesses?
