Frank Lampard's stunning ex Elen Rivas is set to steam up Dancing on Ice.
Former model Elen, 34, has been confirmed as a contestant - and things could hot up further when she exits the ITV1 show.
Like others who leave, she will be interviewed on Daybreak by Christine Bleakley... who is Chelsea star Lamps' new love.
An insider said: "Elen will bring a bit of glamour to the show.
"But it will also be interesting to see how she and Christine react when they meet for the first time."
Spanish beauty Elen - mum to Lampard's daughters Luna, five, and Isla - split with the footballer nearly two years ago but made no secret of her desire to win back her former fiancé.
She will be joined on the rink by former Neighbours star and singer Craig McLachlan, 45.
Also among the 16 celeb hopefuls, who kick off next month, are axed Corrie actor Steven Arnold - who played soap tram crash victim Ashley Peacock - US rapper Vanilla Ice, reality star Kerry Katonaand Iraq war hero Johnson Beharry.
The insider said: "It's the best line-up ever."

Wonder how Craig has aged, yay to him being on the show. Could easily give Kerry Katona a miss, she'll be full of drama no doubt

Is Nicky Slater being replaced as judge? I had hoped Matt Cutler might turn up as one, but he's obviously keeping his hand in with SCD.

The pairings for this year's Dancing On Ice have been confirmed.

Following the announcement of which celebrities will compete in the ITV show, it has now been revealed that just five professional dancers who have previously taken part will return for the new series. Matt Evers, Daniel Whiston, Frankie Poultney, Maria Filippov and Brianne Delcourt will be joined by 11 new faces to partner the celebrities.

Evers will skate with Loose Women star Denise Welch, while Whiston has been partnered with Kerry Katona.

Neighbours star Craig McLachlan will dance with Filippov, Poultney with 'Comedy Dave' Vitty and Delcourt is paired with former EastEnders actor Sam Attwater.

Angela Rippon, the oldest contestant to ever compete on the series, has been partnered with Canadian gold medallist Sean Rice, Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe with French skater Sylvain Longchambon, and Corrie actor Steven Arnold with Russian professional Nina Ulanova.

Other pairings include Chloe Madeley and Michael Zenezini, Nadia Sawalha and Mark Hanretty, Elen Rives and Lukasz Rozycki, Dominic Cork and Alexandra Schauman, and Katie Stainsby and Vanilla Ice.

Jodeyne Higgins - married to Sean Rice - will dance with Johnson Beharry VC, Isabelle Gauthier with Jeff Brazier and Colin Ratushniak will partner TV presenter Laura Hamilton.

In a twist, four couples will be voted off the show in the first two weeks.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV on January 9.

    Hope Kerry leaves early

Hopefully it doesnt turn into the Kerry Katona show, because if it does i will definitely not be watching.
I never thought Elen Rivres was stunning, she always seems very moody to me.

The eight contestants taking part in the first Dancing On Ice live show of 2010 have been revealed.

Only half of the celebrities taking part in this year's show will skate on Sunday's series six launch episode, with the other eight taking part the following weekend.

Kerry Katona, Vanilla Ice and Angela Rippon will head up this weekend's bill. They will compete against Johnson Beharry, Corrie's Steven Arnold, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, Nadia Sawalha and Nickelodeon star Laura Hamilton.

Two of the celebrities will be voted off the show after a three-way skate-off. The public will vote for who they want to save from the axe and the judging panel will have no say in who stays or goes until the third week of the competition when the lineup is reduced to the final 12.

Dancing On Ice returns on Sunday at 6.30pm on ITV1. The results show follows at 9.30pm.

Judges are to the right as you look at it of where the skaters are interviewed after - only three this year, Robin, Emma and Jason. Karen is now as head coach

Not sure about the scores being out of 10, as skating is marked out of 6, also judges need to give their score, not have them flashed up on the screen, but on the whole I'm liking the show.

Kerry wouldn't want to get knocked out - Dan is brilliant, and wouldn't like to see him out in the first show!

The show is definately built around her, Dan is by far the best known prof and will have his own following.

I thought Jeff was quite good as well - its all based on the public vote this week and next week - judges votes don't come into it!

He was good, and Laura looks very good as well. The Corrie fans might just keep Steve in.

I missed the end, as had to go back to work. Who went out??

Lots of new proffessionals this year.
I was so glad the war hero got through. I know he wasnt a good skater, but he brought a lump to my throat, when i was watching him being interviewed. He is a true hero.

I didnt need to see Jane at the start in hotpants though!!

Ive always said over the years i would like to see less dances from Torvill and Dean, and see the other younger professionals do more dances

I can't believe they danced to Cameo, but for once, I'm impressed

Actually...now that I think about it, how many complaints will ITV receive because his partner looks like she's dressed for bed (if you follow)

Didn't get to see the skate off, just a bit of jennifer in it where she tripped. Others must have been worse if she could stumble and still manage to get through. I wanted Craig to get through :(

Elen Rivas and Craig McLachlan have failed to win a spot in the final stages of this year's Dancing On Ice.

The Spanish model and Australian soap star were eliminated from the reality contest after losing a bottom three skate-off with Hollyoaks favourite Jennifer Metcalfe, who was granted a reprieve by the public when voting lines reopened.

When speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, McLachlan thanked his professional partner Maria Filippov and joked that he was now looking forward to riding the waves Down Under.

"Well, the good news is there's a six-foot swell coming in at Bondi [Beach], but seriously I've had the best time with this bunch [of contestants] over here, and [Filippov] is an absolute treasure."

Rivas, meanwhile, came off the ice panting from her skate-off performance and stated only that she was "gutted" and "really sad" at her exit.

Her partner Lukasz Rozycki added: "She improved so much since the first time I saw her, I'm really really proud."

'Comedy' Dave Vitty, Sam Attwater, Dominic Cork, Chloe Madeley and Denise Welch - who were all granted safety by viewers earlier tonight - will join Metcalfe and last week's surviving six for the official beginning of the skating competition next week.

Steven Arnold has become the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice.

The former Coronation Street actor finished in the bottom two alongside cricketer Dominic Cork after viewers' votes were combined with the judges' scores from earlier tonight.

The 36-year-old, who received the lowest total of the week from the panel after missing a training session, failed to convince Jason Gardiner, Emma Bunton and Robin Cousins that he should be spared, as they unanimously voted to keep Cork in the competition.

When making his decision, Gardiner declared, "It's a shame it's not a double eviction," while Cousins insisted that there would be more to come from Cork, but had no such words of encouragement for Arnold.

When asked to sum up his Dancing On Ice experience, the former Weatherfield resident stated: "It's all a blur when you're out there on the ice. I've really enjoyed it, it's just a superb buzz with the audience so I've enjoyed every moment I've been here."

Turning to his professional partner Nina Ulanova, he added: "Do you know what, I'm not a natural skater, but I put my heart and soul into this, and Nina for the last three months has been like a big sister to me."

With Arnold eliminated, show hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield teased a mysterious "never before seen" twist to be unveiled next week, which Christopher Dean stated "could change the whole direction of the competition".

That would definately make it interesting! :) I was thinking maybe that they might
be changing professional partners, don't know if that would work or not.

I thought it might be that there would be a different judge next week, as Robin usually dissapears to comment on the Eurpoean Championships.

According to the thread on Digital spy (I'd be lost without it :o)
the celebs get to decide who gets voted off after the skate-off, that's the big twist.

Ohhhhh that's a good twist, they'll all be in tears :D it doesnt mean nobody's safe though, it'll still be the worst 2 or 3 in the skate off.

 She's still there because she isn't the worst skater? What's the big deal?
