I was hoping to get ideas or correct info on this topic.
Im a bit of a night owl and tend to be more in the mood to exercise at night pretty late than during the day or morning.
Its mostly because at night i am restless and feel like i have too much energy to burn. But i have no idea what happens to my body as i sleep and wether exercise is a good idea at this time.

Im 5' 11" about 10 1/2 stone.Pretty thin and hardly any fat on me at all.
Im trying to work on cardio at the moment and also if i can afford it put on some more mass.
I think if i workout at night (anywhere between 11pm and 3 am) i will need to eat protein after to prevent more mucle being burned.
I believe the body recovers at night so im wondering is this a good time to take advantage and work those muscles and do my cardio, eat a few handfulls of pumpkin seeds and hop into bed.
Also the kind of exercise i am thinking of is all on the spot stuff in my room.
Youtube m100 workout to get an idea of what i mean.
dont know if this matter but i am recovering from candida also.Any carbs or sugar that goes unburned doesnt make it to my bloodstream, instead it makes yeast grow in my gut.So i try keep carbs for before exercise of any kind and protein before and after if i can.But does eating this late effect my health badly? will my stomach not get a chance to rest? Or how does it work?
I figured if my body is in repair mode as i sleep what better time to workout than just before i repair.
So hopefully some here will know the deal.
    Thanks

Not sure about the candida. You need to discuss that with a doctor.

nobody else is to offer advice on that matter.

As for exercising late at night: No problem. Personally I find it hard to sleep after, but if it works for you then go for it.

Oh i just mentioned candida because exercise and diet go hand in hand.I wouldnt go near a doctor for that, several doctors and a professor totally missed the diagnosis and i dont need any medical advice only on exercise and info on how the body functions in relation to the topic. But thanks for the reassurance on the exercise.
Its mainly on the days i havent done exercise that i cannot sleep because i have too much energy, or so it feels. So i would be awake for hours anyway.
I will try it out a few nights and see.
Just wanted to make sure it isnt damaging or straining my body when it should be resting, especially my stomach.
