DCU mail on android phones

    Right i'm at the end of my wick with this one.

    tried all avenues.

    joe.bloggs4@mail.dcu.ie

    and tried the login

    jblogsn4

    pass: ******

    server: mail.dcu.ie

    ssl always

    incoming port 993
    outgoing port 587


    Please any help would be mucho appreciated

    Its a gmail account, not dcu.

    Set your protocol to imap

    imap server is imap.gmail.com

    security is ssl

    stmp server is stmp.gmail.com

    Ive got it added on my desire - its in the GMail App, the Maps app, the calendar app .. etc...

    The way I did it was to add it as an account, rather than just trying to add the email.

    Menu - Settings - Accounts - Add Account - Google - Add existing - sign in with your full email address username@mail.dcu.ie

    Anyone know how to set my Samsung Europa so that it will accept Laplan? Some sort of Proxy nonsense I have no head for, it would seem.
