Costs of Protein Suppliments

Recently spent 45 euro on Maximuscle Protein.
However, only lasted me 4/5 weeks.

I don't feel like spending this money every 4/5 weeks and as far as i'm aware the cost for nutrition-x and other brands is similar.

Anyone know where you can get good protein at relatively good price?
I've seen 2kg tubs on the internet for 10euro, but that could be as useless as a bucket of ****e.

Bulkpowders and myprotein.co.uk are the cheapest suppliers I believe.

The unflavoured stuff is very affordable.

Any of the stuff on the below sites is of good quality. I been usuing myprotein for a long time and am very happy with their product.

www.myprotein.co.uk (although they have an Irish site now and they have raised prices slightly to rip the Irish off as usual. Still would work out much cheaper than what you have paid already)

www.bulkpowders.co.uk (similar to the above but i think is a bit cheaper. If you know someone else who wants stuff would work out cheaper if you split the delivery)

bulk powders or my protein are probably your best bet.

What makes you think maximuscle isn't a bucket of sh1te, protein is just protein, as long as it has a decent protein content, eg. 26g per 30g serving, and tastes ok then it all the same.

Also there's supp sticky for this anyway.

Thanks lads, when all 3 of ye reply with the same two sites it must mean something.

On the points the 3rd guy raised (sorry name escapes me)
The thing with maximuscle (and other big brands) is they are tested properly etc. We were told by a nutritionist to stick to the known names, just incase.

But am sure the stuff on the two sites is grand.

Name brands are exactly that. Brands that have a name because of the money pumped into advertising that name. And because of that invested money they pass it on to the consumer at a higher cost. While i won't say that the cheapest most generic of stuff you will find in some stores in town is just as good as Maximuscle. I will say that reading the label can go a long way towards saving you money. A lot of professionals will plug name brands because they are probably connected to selling them in some way and make money from it. And that tested properly stuff is nonsense. Just look at some of the logs on here and ask what they are using. Garaunteed it ain't name brand stuff and the results in the log will speak for themselves.

Tell your nutritionist to stick their "stick to the name brands" up their hoop. Clueless fools.
