5x5 With Hypertrophy

    Hows it going,

    I have been doing 5x5 for 2 months (including deloads) but would like to add some more hypertrophy to it.

    I am happy with my strength gains so want to continue with the 5X5 but would like to add more bulk to my legs as even though they are strong I find it hard to bulk them up.

    I am 6 1.5" (halfs very important) and 100 kg's.

    So finally my question is should I add more hyper trophy like this:

    Monday:
    5x5 squat (strength)
    3 x10 leg press (hypertrophy)
    Assistance etc.

    or

    Monday:
    5x5 squat (strength)
    Assistance etc.

    Thurs:
    3 x 10 leg pres ( hyper trophy)
    Assistance etc.


    Or neither...

    Just do the program as prescribed. Size will come, 2 months is nothing, give it a year.

    Sorry, meant to say 2 months on this programme but have been doing other programmes over the last 2 years or so.

    Squat including the bar would be 145kg.
