Heart rate monitor

    Hey

    I lost a piece of my heart rate monitor, its the plastic bit that holds the battery in place, so i cant use the monitor till i get it back, does anyone know where i could get a new one without having to replace the whole monitor

    Its one of the polar brands

    i woudl suggest contacting polar directly. I had issues with my own one last year (cracked lcd) and they sorted it for me no problem. I had to send it to the UK and it took around 3 weeks.

    If you go onto the polar web site you can print out a reapir form, then you can send back theh, you can get them to send you a quote before any work is done in case its too expensive...i sent mine back last june and was initially told there wud be a 10 day turn around...after 3 weeks i contacted them and told there was a ten day turnarounder its been 21) after 5 weeks I contacted them again to be told they had scheduled my watch in the first day it arrived and then went onto lose it (and didnt realise it hadnt been repaired and returned) luckily I had emailed them at the beginning to make sure it arrived so they knew I knew they had it...in fairness I got a phone call apologising and they replaced my watch with a brand new model similar to my old watch..so if it doesnt appear back quickly keep following it up.
