This question has possibly been answered before...but I'm relatively new to this

How much whey protein should one take & when is it best consumed - after workout, first thing in morning?

In relation to how much - the direction on the tub is "one rounded scoop in 6-8 fl. oz" - what does this translate to in the metric system?! The scoop they are talking about has 70cc printed on it, this must be its measure?

    thanks

    Around 30g a serving, 3 times a day.

Morning, Lunch and Post-Workout works for me.

you should probably work out how much protein you need to take in, how much you are getting from food, and then take whey for the rest.

My advice is to work out how much total protein you ought to be getting daily. Try to get as much of that in whole food sources, supplement the remainder with your whey if you need to. Don't worry too much about nutrient timing.
