Holland and Barrett are having a sale buy one get one for 1cent.i am relatively new at going to the gym and want to put on some muscle.i go 3-4 times a week and was just wondering what would be the best things to buy off this website?

Whey protein... though you could do without it, you trying to bulk up or lose weight?

Whey protein, fish oil, multi-vit, vitamin D.

I sometimes buy nuts there, and they do bags of toasted soya bran which I prefer to wheat bran if I want to make my high fiber low carb muffins.

just before ya rush off buying stuff plan your diet alot more-heres a quote off 1 of the other threads, v v good advice...
......Calculate how much protein you need/want to consume per day.

Decide how you're going to spread these calories out throughout the day ie. 6 meals, 5 meals etc. (Consider a shake 1 of these meals.)

Make sure 1 of these meals is directly after your workout for the most benefit.

If you don't have the means to get all of the protein you need per day from whole food ONLY THEN do you need to supplement your diet with a protein powder

..... the odd shake here and there wont make any difference unless its backed up with plenty of the right foods.

They usually stock 1kg tubs of Meridian Peanut butter. You need to give it a good mix when first opened. Excellent way to boost your calories and tastes great. I usually mix a sh1itload of honey into the tub Nom nom nom

haha €63.39 for a tub of Maximuscle Cyclone 1.2kg. Do people normally pay that?

Tub is cheaper , only difference is one is crunchy one is smooth,
