At first I thought, oh heres a group that want to prey on the weak and take pictures and build a portfolio aka zoom lens on homeless people/mentally ill and in distress/drug user across the street (I was in a very grumpy mood).

Then I thought about it and actually read about it *chuckle*.

The rules are clear, you do not keep or display the photographs. You just give them to the owner. It's about using your skills/interest/hobby to give someone else a little bit of happiness. Some might argue their photos make people happy every day. However this is about not getting credit/praise/feedback. Its just about giving someone who might need or like a photograph of themselves, just that, a simple picture.

I know this projects just gone passed and might be a solely american thing but I thought some of you might like to read about it.

I think the thing i specifically like about it is the website DO NOT want your portraits. Its not about you its about others. You give photos, you do not take them.

I guess photographs aren't going to save the world. Or feed/cloth/teach someone but I think its the little things that can make the different even just for a day. Not everyone has the money/resources to change someone's life in a big way, but who cares if its big or small? As long as somethings done.
