The girl at my local Debenhams told me they were sold out completely in Ireland about a month ago. Went into Boots in Liffey Valley a week and a half ago and seen a whole load of them. Maybe ring them and see if they have any left.

You might get some on e bay...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 252 ✭✭alanajane

thought of that but apart from fact you would pay horrendous money for it i would be more worried if it would be genuine, my daughter is allergic to a lot of make up/hair dye, if it was fake stuff she would be very ill indeed.

Did you try ringing boots in liffey valley? My mam got 2 there last week? She rang and they held one for her, it might be still open!

This is their phone number 6232000, ask for the urban decay counter and hopefully someone will be able to help you out :)

I bought one off ebay last week, again a Christmas present. The name of the seller was rhodadamni, not sure if she has anymore. She sent it the next day and I got it yesterday. All wrapped up in pretty paper and everything! I opened it to make sure it was the genuine article and it was. Ya it was a little bit more expensive then buying it in the shops but I had tried Debenhams, Clearys, Arnotts, House of Fraser and places in Limerick and no where had it! So it was my only option!

Oh I forgot, I've bought a lot of make-up on ebay and every time I have gotten a genuine palette or item. If you look at what the seller has sold in the past you can pick out people who sell the real thing and people who sell fake stuff. Like everything just do your homework before you commit to buy! But of course if you can find it in a shop, then that is your best bet!

Is it possible to ring a Debenham's up in Dublin and get them to send it? I'm in kerry and it's all sold out in the one here!

Debenhams on Henry St. were all sold out on the 26th Nov and the girl at the counter said they wouldn't be getting anymore as far as she knew.

Whats the obsession with this pallete about?? Is it amazing?? I've never bought any UD stuff but now that its sold out all over the place i NEED IT NOW :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,195 ✭✭✭✭Michellenman

    It is AMAZING.

When I say amazing I mean AMAZING. Each and every colour is wearable, there's a variety of different finishes, matt, sparkle, sheen, satin. It will suit every complexion and every eye colour. You can create so many different looks just from the one palette. It's incredible easy to use and a ridiculous bargain consider you get 12 full size eyeshadows (normally €18 each) and double ended eyeliner (individual eyeliners are ~€15 each) and a mini primer potion (full size is €18) for €36.

You can have this palette and then 3/4 single eyeshadows and not need anything else, you may desire more but that's different :P

I got it for my Birthday at the start of October and I haven't used anything else since that day. I dunno how I'd manage to do my make up without it anymore if I'm honest :pac:

The reason I bought it was because I like UD palettes but usually there are a few mad colours in them that I would never wear. When I saw this one, they were all colours that I would wear going to work or just if I'm trying for a simple look.

I love soft pinks, creams, and subtle browns, so for me it was perfect! Also I bought the Bobbi Brown nude shimmer palette and I think this complements it perfectly!

And for €30.60 too :D Happy days!!

GOT IT!!!! It was on debenhams.ie :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 600 ✭✭✭PurplePrincess

I ordered 2 aswell, just hope the order goes through. Fingers crossed.

I got 4 of these in New York the day it was released and it is fab, the colours are all lovely and wearable, i had bought them all as presents and everyone loved them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 252 ✭✭alanajane

Thats my only worry ladies, that there will be a problem with the order but in saying that any other time I tried the Debenhams site the palette wasn't even showing up....I wont fully relax till I have it in my hands.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 600 ✭✭✭PurplePrincess

Thats my worry too, that they'll say out of stock but in fairness to Debenhams I ordered 400euro worth of stuff 2 weeks ago in the sale and I got everything bar one pair of shoes.

    Fingers crossed..

Seems to be gone already..did you ladies just search it in debenhams site or did it come up under urban decay products?
Its the only thing I want for Christmas and it seems like Santa's having severe problems getting it:(

yeah seems to be gone alright, I'd say they were inundated as its such a good price for what it is.
I would keep checking though as it has dissapeared before and then reappeared.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 63 ✭✭clairey__Ox

Friend of mine has both the UD Naked and Coastal Scents 88Warm Palette, and says the 88Warm is probably better and for half the price!

    Decisions,decisions..:confused::pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,195 ✭✭✭✭Michellenman

I have a coastal scents palette, not the warm one mind you, while is half the price probably and you get more shadows the shades are less than half the half the quality. The colours would end up all over my face, on my cheeks and nose, they also caused my eyes to water uncontrollably! As well as that the colours were all loosely packed so they would crack very easily and then then the colours in the rest of the palette would be ruined.

I'd say go for the quality that the Naked palette offers if I were you.

Hi, just returned from a short break away, flew with Aer Lingus and the Urban Decay Naked Palette was part of their sky shopping catalogue (new December catalogue just launched this week!!). It was only €28 (RRP according to the catalogue is €36). If you knew anyone going on holiday, maybe you could get them to pick you up one? They also have some benefit eye shadow kits for ~€25. http://www.aerlingus.com/travelinformation/inflightservices/inflightshopping/

Bought the urban decay naked palette myself, looking forward to using them if this thread is anything to go by!

Love Duty Free!! Always stock up on make-up there!
Do you know if they have MAC make-up in The Loop in Dublin Airport??

Heading into Limerick tomorrow after work, can anyone tell me which shops stock Urban Decay products and if any of them have the Naked Palette in stock? It's the one thing I'm after this christmas so any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 669 ✭✭✭the west wing

I know that Debenhams sell Urban Decay in Limerick but not sure if they have the palette. Not sure anywhere else in Limerick sells UD.

Went in today and none left, Thanks though!. The girl in there thought they would get more in because it was still in the catalogue or something.
Tis fairly annoying cos I'm in Galway (and to the best of my knowledge no where here has Urban Decay) and not sure when I'll be up to Limerick next :(

Like I said earlier I bought mine off ebay and it was the genuine article. It cost about €10 more but I needed it for christmas so I didn't mind spending the extra cash. If you really want it and aren't sure where/when you can get it, this might be a better option for you?

I bought the Naked Pallette from the debenhams website last wednesday. Got a confirmation email but the following day I got an email saying that due to the weather conditions delivery would take longer than normal!!! really really hoping to have it before Christmas!! Did anyone else who got it on the debenhams website get the same email or any other delivery progress email???

On a side note, I was in Debenhams in Cork yesterday and enquired about the Naked Pallette. The girl there was saying that all debenhams in Ireland and England were sold out of it and won't be getting it back in until January! Kinda find that hard to believe....January...really

When I rang Boots in the UK I was told they were completely sold out and they woudn't be getting it again because it's a limited edition!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Gauge

mazken- I got the same string of emails (one confirmation email and one email apologising for the delay) and just got a mail a few minutes ago saying it has been despatched :)

moco- I think Boots have got it wrong, both Harvey Nicks and Sephora staffmembers told me it's a permanent part of the range and it's a case of Urban Decay not being able to make/supply enough to meet the demand right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 380 ✭✭yoginindublin

just came from the US (NYC) and they are also all sold out on naked palettes over there. the girl in sephora said that all stocks to come in on january and it will be part of the regular collection already
