    Silly alright. They might unblok it if you ask. They probably have default websites blocked and unblock them when people want them etc

    The Guardian website has been blocked for security reasons. The college was informed by its ISP (HEAnet) that malware was being distributed by that website through third party ad servers linked to the website over the past four weeks.

    Unfortunately due to the slow response from the Guardian, it was decided to block their website until this has been resolved.

    The authors of this malware are busy updating the code so this fake AV is difficult to detect. The sample obtained recently was only detected by 4 of 43 scanners on virustotal.com.
