    Morning All,

Ive had the Mirena coil in now for about 1.5 years..periods are heavier than they use to be but Im also putting that down to child birth. No major issues since it settled down.

However, this month my period lasted quite long, but I also had really really really sore back pain with it, it actually started in my neck and worked its way down. Now my period is over the pain in my back is awful, literally bringing tears to me eyes just sitting down.
Im having some small sharp pains in my lower stomach too.

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this with the mirena? Cant seem to find it on the list of side effects

Sorry painful, no one can give you medical advice here. If you have pain out of the ordinary like this, your body is telling you something so please contact your doctor to have it checked out and sorted and to put your mind at rest. You shouldn't have to be suffering with this.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
