Do women have something against thin men

I’m just curious because although I’m actually on the high end of the BMI scale, I am always getting negative feedback from women about been thin and have even been told that I’m not a “real man”. What is wrong with women, do they have something against thin and in-shape men or something, because it certainly seems that way to me. Once again I’m actually on the high end of the BMI scale (so hardly underweight), and yet I’m even told that I should “put on weight”. Do women prefer overweight men or something because I’m seriously confused at this point.

Maybe your willy isn't on the high side of the BMI scale?

    its the inverse rule.

You must be fatter and taller than a women.

otherwise she feels overweight and underprotected....

    Ohhhhhh he's in trouble now...

I'm really quite thin and it has never been a major issue - though in relationships there is the associated fretting that you are not looking after yourself enough. Are you sure this is the main factor is what they 'have against you'? I've known many thin guys that are noticeable successful with women. Some women even prefer it as a type - especially when you reach the indie crowd and whatnot (think skinny jean rockstars!).

Also are you tall or not? I think the proper crux will always be the tall issue.

You don't have the lovely man bosoms they like to rest their head against after a hard day.

BMI scale is bullshít so I wouldn't be thinking about that.

If you're a man that's more than 5'8" and your waist is less than 34" then you're too skinny..I reckon.

Yes, but not their vaginas unfortunately.

I saw some survey crap thing that states women prefer men to a bit overweight then under...

I use to be pretty scrawny and atheletic but after 4 years at a desk job I'm filling out a little. I seem to get a bit more attention from the ladies.

Of course that might be them giggling after saying watch that fat ass waddling into McDonalds

No, they know exactly what they want. It's just that that exact want changes on a second by second basis.

Doesn't matter what your waist is, it depends on how wide your chest and shoulders are.

Most male models have a 30 or 32 inch waist.

Jayzus I would disagree. I am around 6 foot one and my waist is around 31(32 pants are too big, 30 are too small) Im 70kg too. I dont think I am too skinny.

Last time my BMI was checked it was in the high 30's.. Somewhere around 37 if memory serves me right!.

Women are mental they don't know what they want.

Personally I wouldn't really care too much as I would always find a man attractive if I'm attracted to his personality but if you're talking first impressions then I would be attracted to an average shaped man. Not too fat, not too thin.

Having said all this, and I try to be diplomatic, I think women are less shallow than men when it comes to the appearance of the opposite sex. The majority of my mates are guys and they're very judgemental on womens bodies "she was too skinny / hairy / flat chested / lopsided etc. They appear to go into great details about what they would see to be the negative things about a woman they scored with or are just judging but from my own experience women don't do this.

I do think that alot of women take great care with their appearance and make the most of what they have got but alot of men don't seem to do the same. I've been party to many a slagging match over a womens lobsided tits or lack of bikini wax from a man who's overweight, badly dressed and still wearing the long locks that he should have got rid of fifteen years before.

So to sum up, no I don't think women care too much.

Obviously. There's only thin and overweight - no middle ground. Like, duh...

There is a fine line between a thin man and a weedy/rake/rat-like man. No problem with tall & thin, or short & thin. But there is a line then when it goes to weedy - and that is not OK.
I suppose on a very obvious level - there is a vast difference in the perceived masculinity between them. It may not be conscious on the women's mind - but it is definitely there sub-consciously.

Long and thin goes too far in and does not please the ladies, short and thick does the trick and produces proper babies. :D

Are you suggesting women prefer brain damaged dwarves? I'm not so sure those babies would be "proper"!

I'm thin and I couldn't give a toss what women think...so long as they keep it to themselves. I do have a problem however when they make insulting remarks to my face.

I don't walk up to women and grab their arms and say - "My God you are fat."

    or "Nice bingo wings."

so don't think it is acceptable for them to make pointed remark about my weight.

I'm healthy but naturally thin. I have noticed that the worst offenders are women who like to use the term "curvy" to describe their figure.

I get what your saying op, years ago i was fairly thin and i had the odd comment from women that i could do with a meal. I hated this comment and i used to think if i was to say back to them that they could do with a meal or 2 less....what would happen, it wouldn't be acceptable at all.

Depends, there is a difference between wiry men who have a certain muscle mass to them or really skinny men who have no muscle mass at all.
