Is there anything for south dublin ? Im reading meath, louth, wicklow and waterford... but nothing for dublin ??! :(

-5.8 recorded here as the lowest tempature since midnight, currently -0.4, hasn't risen above 0 all day!!

No snow (or any sign that we are likly to get any) today, clear blue skies here in Enniskillen.

uhmm, looks as if the band will hit louth, and then track into meath. Could be just a snowless night in dublin...but there is still good potential according to these guys: http://www.dmi.dk/dmi/index/danmark/vejrkort.htm (click on nedbor...they have been impressively accurate lately.

That chart has showers coming onto the east coast this afternoon and tonight and then from tomorrow lunchtime relentlessly for about 24 hours into Tuesday. Is it really that reliable Patneve?

Yes, but if you look at the temp chart the temps over the Irish Sea go up a bit,, so it might be just rain :(:(

When are we going to get some snow down here in Cork?

It's lovely down here. Freezing, but a beautiful day nonetheless. No clouds in the sky at all.

Dark clouds now making land in North Dublin. Seagulls flying inland & the temp is beginning to drop a bit.

Fog never lifted in Craughwell, Galway today. We woke up to a thin dusting of snow, enough for snow angels and badly formed snowballs but nowhere near enough for a snowman. Temperature hasnt gone above -2 all day.
Hoping we'll get a bit more snow at some point, but not holding my breath. Have spent most of the day on here keeping any eye on the rest of ye. Really hope ye in Clare, Limerick, Cork and all other snow free zones get something over the next few days.

Fog starting to rise off the snow covered fields here now, south of Ballyhaunis. Looks like there could be some really bad freezing fog later.
