Not sure about this. Just checked there now and it's definitely white. There must have misjudged the amount of yellow paint required. Someone should resign.

Well with exams going right up to the 22nd of December it is highly unlikely there would be any cancellation or rescheduling of your lectures. Your exams have been made up and written for a good while now so they have to get through the module outline.

I would be the same but because of the superfines in the library it's just not possible not to even attempt to get up.

All general loans can be renewed online if there are no reservations for the book, if there is, you have to bring it back ...

Any chance of college being cancelled monday/tuesday? Looked at the satellite there and apparently there is a massive snow front coming in for tuesday in dublin? I'm stranded in Waterford at the moment and the roads have shown no sign of clearing despite there being no snow here today.

Would lecturers be understanding enough about not making it up for an exam on tuesday as long as I contacted the program office?

I called services this evening to check. They said there's no closure planned but to check the website in the morning for any update.

I'd imagine there's a lot in the same boat as you, contacting the programme office can't hurt.

Thanks, i'm kind of worried to be missing some revision lectures this week but it's not worth the risk of taking the car out on these roads. there are cars abandoned outside my estate as no one can make it up the main avenue hill. Anyone who tries starts to slip backwards.

Eh it kinda went ahead!

That ninja guy was hilarious, at one stage he was just standing with a camera filming everything while getting pelted with snowballs from all directions, he seemed to be loving it though!

Highly unlikely I'd say. However it would be nice if they could be forwarded by one hour. So 9am would start at 10am to give everyone a good chance of getting in. Wouldn't make a huge difference except for finishing at 9pm.

Its still two weeks away, so it will most likely be the usual crispy cold weather for the RDS.

Does anyone know if they were postponed in this past? I mean if it gets really really worse, (like 20 inches or something), then it's going to be extremely hard for people who have to come from the Northside.

They cannot logistically postpone the exams. Trinity use the RDS after Christmas for exams. Theoretically yes if there was a massive snowfall around Dublin they would have to postpone but I doubt it would happen. They would lose a load of money doing it.
