WHATS THE GREATEST SONG FROM THE LAST 30 YEARS??

What is the greatest song from the last 30 years? I think music in general released over the last few years has been rubbish! A good percentage of music released over the period of 6 months has been dyer! Rock, hiphop and dance/house music has been poorly produced recently and has got me thinking about all time greats, I've polled some songs that have come to mind but feel free to say what you think is an all time great..

Me too hermy. Its not my favourite but would get my vote as to what it achieved. Smells like teen spirit started something special, the start of the Mtv generation.

To be honest, most of the greats were written over 30 years ago, for me the 70's was a fantastic era for blues and rock. During the 80's however (within the last 30 years) for me one man was keeping the feeling alive until a helicopter crash in 1990, Mr. SRV:

that is perfection,music should of stopped when that was recorded.

blue monday is the best song in the poll,but still plenty of better songs in the last 30 years,cant think of any at the mo though.
