In my experience ain't no such thing as an oderless garlic pill!

In any case, I doubt a pill could come near to replicating the real thing.

Soup is a great way to sneak a load of garlic into the diet. I put upwards of 12 cloves in my chicken soup! I am a bit of a garlic fan though.:)

I have seen a few programs, like braniac or mythbusters with people putting on plastic socks with garlic paste in them -and their breath smelled of garlic afterwards.

You can get jars of minced garlic really cheap in Asian supermarkets, some have huge big catering size tubs. I would presume these jars are heat treated so am not sure if it would damage its "goodness", most sterilization is only at 121C.

we had a lecturer at college who claimed that odourless garlic was utterly useless...if you want the benefits you have to live with the pong, according to him. Can't find any studies or evidence to back this up at the moment though! I love garlic, at the first sign of a cold or flu I make a chicken noodle soup with about three chillies and six cloves of garlic...never gets beyond the sniffle stage after that!
