Have any of you guys used HMB? it appears to have some added benifits, lower colestoral etc and according to this study atleast gives better strenght gains than creatine.

I loved HMB but it only helped me recover faster and gave me a nice lean cut. I got more strength and mass gain with creatine.

    Study written by
Steven L. Nissen and Rick L. Sharp

Pages 651659: Steven L. Nissen and Rick L. Sharp. Effect of dietary
    supplements
on lean mass and strength gains with resistance exercise: a metaanalysis.
The Journal of Applied Physiology has regretfully omitted a conflict
of interest disclosure, which was provided by the author at the time of
    submission. The con
flict of interest disclosure states as follows: Dr. Steven
Nissen is a professor at Iowa State University, which owns the patents related
to HMB. In addition, Dr. Nissen is the CEO of Metabolic Technologies, Inc.,
which is the licensee of the HMB patents. HMB is the subject of part of the
    meta-analysis.

Sure anyone can write a "study" to big up their own product.
