Dont want to spend too much but want a touchscreen with wifi.

Camera , music player or games not important

    Samsung Europa
    Sony Ericsson X10 Mini
    Samsung Spica

Out of these cheapies, would anyone reccomend one over the other

May occasionaly use voipcheap (sip) over wifi for calls
Nice to have Satnav, once I dont have to pay data charges to use !

X10 mini is a class phone, id be between that and the spicia! They should both be the same price on your upgrade..

    Try This

    Nokia E5

    nokia-e5-black.jpg

    5MP Camera
    Wi-Fi on board
    Fairly cheap on upgrades
    Nokia Mapping (Free For Life)

Only drawback is it aint Android, but still a fairly sound little phone

Don't get that phone, symbian yuck. How about the HTC Wildfire? Nice little phone and isn't too bad price wise on even the cheapest price plans.
