Keeping strength post-op

I've just had surgery to fix a testicular torsion last Friday, as a result of this I can't do anything strenuous for a month :( This is pretty much anything outside of walking.

I'm just wondering what would be the best way to minimise strength loss if there is any way? Its just that I was on my way to a 3*5 100kg squat and that was my main goal for the end of the year and i'm really pissed off about missing it cause of an operation.

    Thanks

you need to keep protein intake high, do whatever your doc permits even if its just walking.. and accept that a little strenght loss is likely, you'll get it back again once recovered

    Doctor_Socks, hope it went well.

Please take the lead for your doctor as this falls well outside scope of what this forum can advise you on. Sorry, but closing the thread.

Focus on recovering fully, then worry about regaining strength.
