Advice on installing Symantec Endpoint

    Hi All,

I am testing Symantec Endpoint Security prior to rolling out to a few customers I support, and its not going well.

Does anyone have experience of installing Symantec Endpoint.
I have installed the Endpoint manager on a server 2008 standard edition build.
I have been able to get it to generate the 32bit & 64bit client roll out packages
I have created the obligatory webserver that is required for Endpoint Manager to run.

I have using the IP address of the server that Enpoint is installed on managed to install the client package however the client package is not running and when I try to load it I am informed that the required service is not running. The service then fails to load when i try to load it manually.

Also how do I add my domain to the Endpoint Manager. AD & LDAP is installed but Ep keeps telling me that it is failiong to connect to the server.

IIS is running along with all required sub-components
Active Directory is installed - with OU's created & users in each OU.
The server that SEP is installed on is the DC also running as DHCP & DNS Server.

What am I missing. Any ideas guys??
