I have a perfectly working DVD recorder/player and recently when plugging it in the plug did not go in smoothly at first and as a result there were some sparks coming out of the back of the DVD player. Unfortunately now it will not work. I have checked the fuse in the plug but this is not the problem....the sparks came out of the back of the dvd player....and I wonder if there is a fuse in the DVD at the power cable source which might have blown or is it a comlete write off now? Your help would be appreciated.
