Task Manager issue

    Hi
I've just noticed that my task manager window looks odd (see pic). It looksl ike a scaled down version of the original, with no buttons or user-selectable option of any kind. The only button that's there is to open the services window.

Thus I have no option to kill any apps that are running, and the only way to close the thing is to use Alt+F4.

I'm using Vista home premium, and it must be over a year since I've opened this task manager, so I cant be sure if any new update or install has done this.
Anyone ever see anything like this before?
Is there perhaps an option somewhere that I've changed which hides running apps?
