lately i've been barely home from work in time to pack my gear and head to rugby training at 7 of 7:30, i wouldnt have eaten anything since lunch so sometime can be starving at training and as a result feel a bit dead and low on energy so just wondering what snacks are best to eat 15-30 minutes before training,

I used to be in a similar situation to you- I found a half water half orange juice mix pretty good, light on the stomach and good for hydration too

pre prep your food for the week. I train straight after work most days and bring my food with me.

Banana and a pint of milk works for me, maybe a flapjack too

Handful of jellies or a few jaffa cakes...

Strawberry Yoghurt, Cottage Cheese handful of oats in a blender. Throw in a few seedless purple grapes/ banana slices after it's blended, throw it in a bowl... Quick to make, quick to eat and tasty as all funk. You don't even need to blend it if you're not pushed on the texture

cold chicken sambos do the job for me, or else some peanut butter and banana sambos :)

Banana with a small few oats in a protein shake.
